If you sit still long enough, you get visitors, sometimes of the four legged variety. I have a friend who places a mirror on her easel to catch the two-legged visitors but, as I found out, in Yellowstone, where we are often warned to not approach the wildlife, being mindful that they might approach you is something to think about too. As I quietly painted about about 7 Elk grazed up behind me. I carefully set down my brushes and waited till they moved on past. I think I better get a mirror for my easel!
