24 x 30”, oil on linen panel, 2019. Sold
This painting for Plein Air Easton is a farmers market collection of area produce, a different interpretation of my typical Plein Air subject matter but fitting, I think, to the presence and place of Talbot County and farm fresh fare. Especially poignant are the sunflowers, lovingly planted by Oxford, MD farmer Bill Eason every summer in memory of his late wife. Sometimes sold, sometimes given away, they are an enduring expression of a lifelong love.
